WIS Charcoal Grey Suede Leather Strap

New in Suede: Charcoal Grey, Dark Chocolate Brown, and Deep Sea Blue

Suede has always held a different kind of appeal than smooth leather. It's softer to the touch, quieter on the wrist, and carries a texture that changes character depending on the light hitting it. We're adding three new colors to our suede lineup, Charcoal Grey, Dark Chocolate Brown, and Deep Sea Blue, each designed to bring that same tactile warmth to a different part of your rotation.

Charcoal Grey

Charcoal Grey is the neutral this lineup was missing. It reads darker and more versatile than a standard grey, with enough depth to pair confidently with both cool-toned steel cases and warmer gold or bronze accents. It's an easy match for watches that already have a lot going on, dial texture, colored accents, a busy bezel, since the muted tone lets the watch itself stay the focus.

Best paired with: steel sport watches, monochrome dials, anything you want to dress down without losing polish.

Dark Chocolate Brown

Dark Chocolate Brown is a deep, near-black brown, closer to espresso than any traditional cognac or tan tone. In most lighting it reads almost like a rich black, with the brown only really showing itself up close or in direct sun. That depth gives it a grounded, low-key feel that works especially well on dress-adjacent pieces and field watches alike, without the reddish undertones some brown leathers carry. This is the color that ages into a strap you reach for without thinking twice.

Best paired with: gold and rose gold cases, cream or champagne dials, anyone who wants the versatility of black with a touch more warmth up close.

Deep Sea Blue

Deep Sea Blue is the darkest of the three, a navy so deep it reads as black in almost any indoor or low light, only revealing its true blue in direct sun. It's a strong match for dive watches and tool watches that already lean into a blue color story, but it also works as a near-invisible swap on watches that ship with a black strap by default, adding depth and richness without visibly breaking from black.

Best paired with: dive watches, blue or black dials, anyone who wants the look of black with a little more depth underneath.

Why Suede, and Why Now

Suede occupies a different space than our smooth leather and exotic leather lines. It's inherently more casual, more textural, and it wears in a way that smooth leather simply doesn't, softening and developing character with regular use rather than developing a high-shine patina. These three colors were chosen specifically to round out that casual, everyday-wear category with genuinely versatile options, rather than novelty shades that only work with one or two watches.

A Note on Care

Suede asks for slightly different care than smooth leather. Keep it away from water and excess moisture when possible, brush off surface dust with a dedicated suede brush rather than a damp cloth, and store it away from direct sunlight to help the color stay true over time. Treated well, a good suede strap breaks in beautifully and only gets more comfortable with wear.

Ready to Shop

All three colors are available now in 20mm lug width. Whether you're rounding out a neutral rotation with Charcoal Grey, warming things up with Dark Chocolate Brown, or adding a considered pop of color with Deep Sea Blue, we think there's a genuinely versatile pairing in this drop for just about every collection.
